Technical Team Lead - Payments

The Role

We're looking for a Technical Team Lead who is technically strong, deeply thoughtful, and comfortable owning systems that operate in high-stakes, real-world environments.

Our technology stack: NodeJS, Typescript, VueJS, Serverless Framework, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, AWS SQS, AWS IoT, AWS EC2, ELK Stack, Kubernetes.

Key responsibilities:
- Lead the team in scoping, estimating, and delivering product features with quality.
- Design for regulatory constraints, idempotency, reconciliation, and system robustness.
- Own the technical correctness of payments/B2B flows.
- Act as the primary technical liaison between the payments pod and stakeholders.
- Champion and advocate adherence to internal coding standards and design best practices.
- Mentor engineers to deepen domain understanding and technical judgment.

Requirements:
- 6+ years of work experience as a Full-Stack Engineer/Developer, with 3+ years at Senior level.
- Strong experience with AWS cloud architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with Domain Driven Development, Node.js, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Proven experience building serverless & Kubernetes architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB).
