Senior Product Designer

Automattic, behind WordPress.com, Jetpack, Tumblr, WooCommerce, Simplenote and more, is looking for seasoned Product Designers.

About the role: Design is at the core of what we do — designing experiences for millions of users across WordPress, WooCommerce, Tumblr, and all products in our ecosystem.

What you'll do:
• Design exceptional products from start to finish, participating in all phases from definition to optimization
• Iterate actively with prototypes at all levels of design fidelity, informed by user research and business goals
• Communicate and share in written, verbal, and visual forms to create alignment
• Collaborate regularly with engineers to ship high-quality experiences
• Contribute to Automattic products and the larger open-source community

What we're looking for:
• Experience with consumer products, remote work, WordPress, e-commerce, site editors
• Ability to identify user needs, define clear solutions, and deliver through detailed design
• Strong UI and visual design skills with portfolio showcasing craft
• Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with product development cycles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary: $95,000–$200,000 USD. Fully remote.
