Job description

Physmodo is redefining movement health through computer-vision assessments, connected wearables, and personalized content. Our iOS product suite spans a consumer iPhone app, an enterprise iPad app used in studios and clinics, and a computer vision engine. You'll join a small, fast-moving team who ships frequently and obsesses over high-quality user experiences.

What You'll Own: You'll be the technical lead for both native iOS codebases — guiding architecture and collaborating with backend, Android, and product teams.

1. Assessment Engine SDK – Debug and optimize our in-house computer-vision SDK (written in Swift + AppleVision), improve performance, and extend test coverage. Migrate the SDK to the latest Apple Vision version.
2. Mobile-app & Enterprise-app UI refresh – Lead a design-system rollout (SwiftUI where practical, UIKit where existing). Updating two different iOS apps based on product requirements.
3. QR-code hand-off – Build a secure tap-to-sign-in experience: generate a time-boxed QR in the mobile app, scan on iPad, exchange tokens with our API, and log users in instantly.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Own the full iOS release pipeline (CI/CD, TestFlight, public/enterprise distribution). Refactor legacy UIKit code toward modular, testable SwiftUI components. Profile, benchmark, and optimize memory, launch time, and frame rates. Write unit & UI tests (XCTest, Snapshot testing). Pair with design on motion/animation polish; pair with backend on GraphQL/REST contracts.

Must-Have Qualifications: 5+ years shipping production Swift apps. Deep UIKit & SwiftUI knowledge. Experience integrating RevenueCat, Branch.io or similar SDKs. HealthKit or wearable-data integrations. Solid grasp of authentication flows, keychain, OAuth 2 / JWT. CI/CD ownership (Xcode Cloud). Computer-vision or Apple Vision experience.
