Role Purpose

As the Platform Tech Lead, you will serve as the technical anchor for the Platform Engineering team. You will lead critical production implementations and take full ownership of the technical roadmap to ensure our services maintain 99.99% availability.

What You'll Do:
- Technical Leadership: Act as the final technical reviewer for complex setups including global traffic routing and EKS scaling, and complex networking implementations (VPNs, certificate rotation for mTLS).
- Architectural Excellence: Architect robust solutions to ensure strict adherence to 99.99% System Uptime.
- Incident Management: Identify underlying root causes for critical production incidents and provide permanent fixes, ensuring severity incidents remain at 0–1 per month.
- Performance & Scaling: Lead service capacity planning, demand forecasting, and system tuning.
- Monitoring & Reliability: Establish end-to-end monitoring and alerting on all critical systems.
- Security & Compliance: Partner with SecOps to ensure global infrastructure meets rigorous security standards.

What You Bring:
- 7+ years of hands-on technical experience with large-scale production environments and infrastructure.
- 2+ years leading site reliability engineers or software developers.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS architecture (Serverless, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EKS, S3).
- Strong grasp of Kubernetes, microservices, and CI/CD principles (GitHub Actions).
- Proven, deep experience managing and securing Kubernetes (EKS) at scale.
- Strong grasp of complex networking concepts for global multi-region deployments.
