The Role

We're looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer who is technically strong, deeply thoughtful, and comfortable owning systems that operate in high-stakes, real-world environments.

Key responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services powering mission-critical financial workflows.
- Own features end-to-end: from design and implementation to monitoring and iteration.
- Build and evolve event-driven, serverless & Kubernetes microservices.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
- Participate actively in architecture discussions, code reviews, and design reviews.
- Ensure systems are observable, resilient, and production-ready.

Requirements:
- 6+ years of professional experience as a Back-End Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with Domain Driven Development.
- Strong experience with Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Solid hands-on experience with AWS (or equivalent cloud platforms).
- Proven experience building serverless & Kubernetes architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB).
- Experience designing and operating event-driven microservices.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, async workflows, and distributed systems.

Nice to Have:
- Exposure to fintech, payments, and high-regulation systems.
- Basic understanding of blockchain or crypto transaction flows.
