About the Role: Engineer #5, a core builder of the AI-powered CFO platform. Replacing manual spreadsheets with real-time visibility, intelligent bookkeeping, and proactive financial controlling. 3-phase roadmap: real-time data aggregation → AI-driven automated collections and payments.

What you'll do:
• Data Ingestion & Normalization: Plug into bank feeds (Plaid), accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero), and payment processors (Stripe/Shopify)
• AI-Powered Categorization: Deploy agents to analyze, classify, and map transaction data
• Conversational Intelligence: Enable founders to query financial data using natural language
• Real-Time Projections: Calculate cash burn, runway, and margin analysis
• Automated AR/AP Engine: Build proactive monitoring with automated reminders and payment workflows

Tech Stack: Vue (frontend), TypeScript, Node.js (backend), Convex (serverless + database), Gemini/Claude/OpenAI, Google Agent SDK, Vercel AI SDK, Stripe, Shopify, QuickBooks, Xero, Plaid.

Requirements: 5+ years full-stack or backend-heavy engineering. Experience with end-to-end SaaS, AI, fintech platforms.

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 USD.
