Software Engineer, Backend (Collection)

About the role: Engineer on the team building systems to collect hard-to-access data. Elevate and extend collection capabilities — strengthening core engines, improving resilience in adversarial environments, and expanding data exposure through interfaces for agents.

What you'll do:
• Master data collection capabilities and understand differentiators
• Shape collection approach and develop technical plans
• Build and maintain stable, scalable systems operating 24x7
• Ensure tools are usable by agents (tool-call readiness, retrieval patterns, schemas)

Requirements:
• Strong backend experience with TypeScript/Python
• Understanding of anti-abuse, bot detection, and traffic integrity systems
• Experience with web scraping, browser automation
• Data-driven with eye for instrumentation and monitoring
• Familiarity with agentic systems
• Active TS/SCI Clearance is a plus
