Data Engineer

BTSE Group is a global fintech leader seeking a talented Data Engineer to own the storage layer and cloud infrastructure provisioning, designing a multi-tenant data architecture and provisioning all infrastructure as code. BTSE operates as a cryptocurrency exchange and fintech platform requiring high-performance and highly available data infrastructure. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing multi-tenant data architectures with strong isolation requirements, provisioning all infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi, working with PostgreSQL including vector extensions, partitioning, and row-level security, developing Kafka consumer and producer pipelines for real-time event streaming, and handling time-series data storage and querying. This role requires strong collaboration across engineering teams to ensure scalable and reliable data platforms that support the company's global exchange operations. Requirements include 4 or more years of data engineering experience, strong SQL, Python, and cloud infrastructure skills, experience designing multi-tenant data architectures with isolation requirements, expertise with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Pulumi, PostgreSQL experience with vector extensions, partitioning, and row-level security, Kafka consumer and producer development experience, and time-series data storage and querying experience. The position is fully remote and available worldwide.
