Senior Software Engineer - In-Store

Olo is a leading SaaS platform accelerating digital transformation in the restaurant industry, helping customers deliver more personalized and profitable guest experiences. Over 800 restaurant brands trust Olo and its network of more than 400 integration partners. Olo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the In-Store team focused on building and improving integrations with new and existing POS Point of Sale partners and systems, ensuring customer orders flow through the Olo ecosystem with a spotlight on revenue by driving critical SLAs, uptime, and overall performance. Responsibilities include leading the design and architecture of complex systems and influencing technical direction, owning the delivery of large-scale features and projects and coordinating efforts across multiple teams, providing mentorship and technical leadership to engineers, collaborating with Product and Design to shape requirements and make architectural decisions balancing quality and delivery timelines, ensuring implementation of high-quality and resilient distributed systems incorporating resilience mechanisms and best practices, leading troubleshooting and incident management efforts, and advocating for improvements in development practices such as CI/CD processes and optimizing infrastructure as code. Requirements include a bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent, 5 or more years of experience in software engineering, advanced proficiency in the .NET and C# ecosystem with experience designing large-scale complex systems, in-depth understanding of architectural principles for distributed systems including microservices and event-driven architecture using Kafka, and proficiency in cloud infrastructure and services including AWS and Kubernetes.
