DBA (PostgreSQL/Oracle)

Yopeso is seeking a skilled Database Administrator with hands-on experience in PostgreSQL and Oracle as well as AWS database services. Yopeso has been developing a diverse range of software products for 20 years with a growing team of over 300 employees across five locations. The ideal candidate will focus on designing, optimizing, and evolving scalable database platforms while working with large datasets, automation, and infrastructure. Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and optimizing Oracle and PostgreSQL databases; planning and executing version upgrades, schema changes, and data migrations across environments; working with large datasets in the terabyte range and designing solutions for high availability; implementing database automation and CI/CD pipelines using Infrastructure as Code practices; and ensuring database security, backup, and recovery processes are architected and validated in the cloud. Required skills include proven experience in Oracle or PostgreSQL database administration including installation, configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting; strong knowledge of backup and recovery, replication, and disaster recovery strategies; experience with AWS services; experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation; and scripting experience for automation using Python or Bash. Monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog is a plus.
