Engineering Manager, Infrastructure

Chainlink Labs is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the Infrastructure Platform team responsible for building and operating the foundational cloud infrastructure that powers engineering velocity across the organization. Chainlink is the industry-standard oracle platform bringing capital markets onchain and powering the majority of decentralized finance. The role exists to ensure product teams can reliably provision, deploy, and operate systems at scale while meeting strict security and compliance requirements. Key responsibilities include delivering a scalable internal infrastructure platform on public cloud environments that enables engineering teams to provision and operate systems efficiently, establishing and evolving Kubernetes-based platform capabilities to support high-availability production-grade workloads at scale, achieving and maintaining 99.9 percent uptime SLOs across infrastructure systems, enabling faster time from idea to production by improving provisioning workflows, ensuring infrastructure systems meet SOC2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 compliance requirements through robust access control and provisioning standards, and building a secure and reliable foundation that supports CI/CD pipelines. Requirements include experience building and operating internal infrastructure platforms on public cloud environments including AWS, GCP, or Azure; 3 or more years leading and managing high-performing teams of infrastructure engineers including hiring and developing talent; demonstrated ownership of Kubernetes at scale; and experience operating in startup environments. Familiarity with blockchain technologies or Web3 infrastructure is a plus.
